First visit
What happens in your first golf lesson in west Houston
The hour is not a tour of the room. You hit balls, the screen disagrees with what you felt, and you leave with one change you can repeat.

Before you drive to Piping Rock
Book a time. The bay is a private studio at 12569 Piping Rock Dr, Houston, TX 77077, not a front desk with a waiting list of groups. Monday through Friday the appointment window is 9:00 to 7:30. Saturday is 10:00 to 6:00. Sunday is closed.
Bring the clubs you actually play. If you are starting from zero, say so when you book and Chase will work with what is in the bay. Wear shoes you can stand on a mat in. Eat something normal. A hungry, tight golfer makes the first ten swings useless.
The first ten balls are a baseline
You warm up until contact is honest. Then Chase picks one club and one miss: the slice, the thin wedge, the driver that starts left and never comes back. The Swing Catalyst mat and the simulator record that pattern. You are not graded on the best swing of the day. You are graded on the swing you own.
A launch monitor is blunt. Club path, face angle, and smash factor do not care what the miss felt like. If you thought you were swinging in-to-out and the path is four degrees the other way, that argument is over in one screen. The lesson starts there.
One change, then proof
Chase names one fault. Not six. You hit the new version until the ball on the screen and the feel in your hands match. If they do not match, the change is not done, even if a single shot looked pretty.
A 60-minute session is the usual first hour: baseline, one change, a drill. A 90-minute session adds room to see the change hold up on a few on-screen shots, which matters if the problem only shows up once you are "playing" and not just beating a 7-iron.
What you should leave with
A sentence you can say out loud. "Face was open, path was left, I start the hands lower." A drill you can do without him in the room. And a decision: one more single hour, or a pack if you already know you will be back.
Packs at Eagle Quest run from five hours at $499 to twenty hours at $1,399. They are prepaid. If the bay is down and the hour is cut short, that hour is not counted. Single sessions are still available if you want the first visit before you buy hours.
