Swing lab
Swing analysis in Houston that ends in one change
Start with a free 60-minute swing analysis. The screen is there to end the argument about what the miss is. The coach is there so you do not leave with a screenshot and no drill.
What gets measured
Face angle tells you where the ball starts. Club path, compared with the face, tells you the curve. Smash factor, ball speed divided by club speed, tells you whether the strike was real or just loud. Carry tells you how far that strike flew. Attack angle and spin matter once those three are stable. They are a distraction on ball one.
The floor mat is Swing Catalyst. It reads pressure and lets you replay the swing, which is how early extension shows up even when the full-speed video looks fine. The wall screen is the simulator: ball flight you can aim at, not a drawing of a swing on a whiteboard.
How the hour is spent
You pick the shot that costs you strokes. Driver slice, thin wedges, a pull that shows up only with the longer irons. Ten balls set the baseline. Chase names the fault the numbers agree on. You rehearse one change until the number moves and you can feel why. The session is 60 minutes. Book 90 if you want the change tested on more than one club.
Definitions, with the slice and the “fast swing that goes nowhere” spelled out, are in club path, face angle, and smash factor.
